Ngambe Inc.
About us | Our specific profile will be a cut to order production. The forest from which these products are being harvested are virgin with trees ranging from 300 to 700 years old. The World Bank has stipulated specific diameter minimums for individual species as cut requirements. They have further stipulated a per hector maximum cutting. Both referenced mills are in the process of becoming certified to be in compliance with world watch groups. The majority of felled trees are a minimum of 80 cm(32 ) in diameter and 60 meters( 180ft. ) to the first limb with some being much higher. This allows for the most amazing clear wood on the face of the earth. We will have the lattitude to mix species as well as vary cut requirements within containers. Each mill will also over cut to accommodate re-milling. The mills currently cut thickness from 1cm(.40 ) to 35cm(14 ) and widths from 5cm(2 ) to 50cm(20 ). Lengths may vary from as little as 1 meter(39.4 ) to 6 meters(20 +/-). We have the capacity to ship single or multiple containers to your destinations. |
