The industrial gears unit of perkasa, located in the subang complex, west java, indonesia, is a subsidiary of pt. Perkasa heavyndo engineering.

This unit was established in the year 2001 to cater exclusively the requirements of the ever growing industries like: Chemicals, sugar, papers, petroleum and oil processing, cement, steel, material handling, construction, agro, marine, textile, power plant, etc.

The industrial gears unit has the following capabilities:

Design the entire gear box based on the customer needs like the power to be transmitted, gear ratio, the type of gear box and its mounting.

Manufacture and assemble the gear box as per customer design, including development of castings, forgings, gear machining, heat treatment and gear grinding.

Refurbishing the existing gear box from the customer including replacement of worn out parts.

This manufacturing infrastructure is of great significance to the development and expansion of the core sector industry in the region and can offer major import substitution to gears& gearboxes. This will reduce the cost and delivery time which in turn will result in enhanced productivity in the industry.
