| About us | Popularised after achieving two (2) UK top 40 releases, Raw Talent artists wrote and performed the tracks Shake ya Body and Sorry (I didnt know) which were released independently on , All Around The World (AAWT) and Locked On respectively. Raw Talent currently holds several residencies in and around Nottingham at The Bomb night club (East Midlands UK) made famous for its close association with BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, and also abroad at The Matrix Club, the most talked about holiday resort in Faliraki. (Rhodes/Greece), Known for their good community spirit and understanding, Raw Talent set up and ran one of the UKs largest Stop The Violence (anti gun) campaign in 2003, working with the cream of UK urban music celebrities on a nationwide MTV/Blues & Soul Stop The Violence tour raising awareness and giving preventative advice. Artists Raw Talent have worked with include amongst others, Ms Dynamite, Mis-Teeq, Big Brovaz, So Solid, Shola Ama, & Omar. Raw Talent made a Movie/Documentary called Stop The Violence which features artists such as Ms Dynamite, Mis-teeq, More Fire Crew, Artful Dodger, So Solid Crew, Omar etc (to name a few). They also recorded a single called Stop The Violence to coincide with the Movie/Documentary reaching 52 in the national charts. They have received a lot of press coverage for this campaign and have completed a 10 night Blues & Soul tour performing alongside Ms Dynamite, Big Brovaz, Shola Ama, Lisa Maffia, Romeo, Asher-D, 3rd Edge, Fallacy and many others. Raw Talent not only make and perform music they also run various workshops in schools and the community i.e. Dj-ing, song writing, music recording, singing, dancing, art and video making (the sharp end of discovering the best street talents). At present Raw Talent are promoting there compilation albums called Diamonds in the Ruff & Uncut Raw Which features solo songs by various vocalists and several collective crew tracks in a mix bag of urban club styles. Raw Talent aims are to be gigging a lot! Shifting plenty of units, & delivering their music straight to the music lovers. |
