Royal Toto is a major Korean manufacturer and exporter of sanitary fixtures and fittings. The company's comprehensive range includes bidets, sensor faucets and air dryers, toilet flush valves, hygiene toilet seats, and bathroom fixtures for the physically challenged. The company markets nationally and internationally under its own Royal brand, a domestic market leader, and has received ISO 9001 certification from the Korean Standards Association. The company can also supply on an OEM basis. Royal Toto Metal Co., Ltd was originally established as Royal Metal Co., Ltd. in 1970, renaming itself in 1980 after embarking on a joint venture with the Japanese company, Toto Ltd., which holds a 25 percent stake. Royal Toto Metal Co., Ltd has registered capital of US$ 6.5 million and has invested a total of US$60 million in its two factories in Incheon and offices and showroom in nearby Seoul. The company employs some 480 workers, including 48 production technicians and 36 quality assurance staff. Exports, largely to Asian markets, account for approximately 10 percent of annual revenue, which is in the region of US$35 million. |
