| About us | Mr. Shaikh was affiliated to some well known brands in the world, b. F. Good Rich and Yokohama. By seeing his performance and devotion mr. Shaikh has been given the sole distribution of yokohama tyres for all over Pakistan. Shaikh then took yokohama to the no.1 position in the Pakistan market. At current sb has a dealer network of 120 dealers all over Pakistan and sb is the main importer of hpt(high performance tyre) from Yokohama. Sb is now selling an average of 5,000 tyres of only yokohama brand per month i. E. Nearly 60,000 tyres per anum. He then started importing spare parts along with tyres. At start he imported several different brand car parts but soon settled for suzuki. He imported parts from japan, thailand, taiwan and other origins of asia, and established a firm under the name of basit motors, whose main concern was to look after spare parts business. Brands like bando, ngk, art, and daitchi are still affiliated with the firm. Basit motors is one of the leading importers of spare parts from Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and now China. Shaikh also was importing spare parts of motor cycle and was the agent of long, diachi etc. Shaikh moved further and started a 3-star hotel by the name of hotel faran in karachi in 1980. This hotel has a capacity of 75 rooms, a restaurant, and a meeting room. It is centrally air conditioned. This hotel is now one of the most respected hotels in Karachi. Shaikh also started a knitting factory which can make hozri products like t-shirts, lowers, and shorts etc from yarn with a capacity of 6,000 dozens a month. This firm is now exporting to USA and Europe. Sb in complete has 250 permanent employees and 300 contract based staff. The annual turnover of sb is nearly 400 million pak rupees i. E.
