Somsak Discus Farm Ltd., Part.

Somsak Discus Farm Ltd., Part. was founded in 1987 by Somsak Cheevaputisakul, who had been fascinated by fish breeding for more than 30 years. Initially, Somsak was interested in breeding many kinds of fish found in Thailand and was able to win several awards in aquarium fish contests. Later he became more interested in breeding Discus, and started to farm this fish more seriously. He has developed new Discus hybrids, some of which have become champions in competitions and shows, and these hybrids have been registered with the Department of Fisheries. Presently, his farm has more than 100,000 Discus of various species.

Somsak Discus Farm is well recognized among international fish-keeping magazines in Japan, Germany, Korea and Chinese Taipei, such as the Discus Year Book 1997-1998 & 1999-2000. The farm supplies beautiful Discus to support demand both in Thailand and overseas. Around 90% of our sales are generated from exports, mainly in Asia, Europe and America.

For shipment, we use a high-quality plastic bag with full oxygen. Before packing we will not feed the fish to ensure that waste does not accumulate in the bag
