Company History

Tempur was founded in 1999 after a merge between Dan-Foam Aps, Denmark and Tempur Pedic Inc., USA. With world-wide headquarters in Kentucky, USA has 2 manufacturing sites and 16 wholly owned subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America. The products are currently sold and marketed in more than 50 countries. Tempur was launched in 1991 and in a short time has become the leader in visco-elastic mattress and pillow category. Tempur was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in December 2003
