Although Thin Solutions market is well established in the West, this market is relatively new and under-exploited in this region. Leveraging on its expertise and success in thin solutions over the past few years, the company has extended its products and application services to other specialized markets including cable TV, financial information providing business and Internet application solutions. Innovative use of thin solutions and its investment in the development of OS and hardware architecture and leveraging on its regional and local partnership with PCCW, the Group has the vision to provide the all-in-one solutions to enterprises around the world. Having considered that thin solution market is still an untapped business in Greater China and there exists clear advantages in using thin technology for improving cost efficiency, together with the expertise and working experience in the technology industry, the management envisages to pioneer thin solutions in Hong Kong and become a prominent thin player in the Greater China region. Through a self-developed, enterprises network, the company utilizes a number of different software technology and hardware architecture to provide various value-added services, including enterprise solutions, real-time financial information, news and internet based solutions. Albeit the relatively short history of establishment, Tiger Tech has become one of the leaders in the thin client/server and network computer area winning the trust of global conglomerate such as Reuters', PCCW as well as alliances with Intel, National Semiconductor and Microsoft. Alliances with Swedish wireless pioneer such as abrandnewworld is also in the making, this collaboration ensures Tiger Tech technology edge and its eventual expansion roadmap- Global. Tiger Tech modular platform technology enables a full range of products, from stand-alone network computers, plug in cards for PCs, fully integrated flat screen units to different standard and customized software solutions. Tiger Tech industrial division supplies the industry with reliable custom-design systems. A perspective of the computer evolution, from start until today, combined with marketing and technical research at a high level, gives us a clear vision of the building blocks that will be the fundamental of the coming global information age. Our commitment is to be one step ahead in the thin client/server and enterprises solution and to continue supplying the customers with products that are known for their flexibility, performance and quality. The company has also extended its solutions service into Cable TV and broadband internet business in early 2001 and by understanding their demand in this field, the company is currently in negotiation with one of the key cable hardware manufacturers in Japan for distributorship. The management expects the agreement to be signed before the end of June this year. Leveraging on its cutting edge technology and latest infrastructure design, a number of Cable TV in Greater China have already indicated their interest in the solutions and products.
