Textiles and Clothing are the leading industry of Bangladesh. These sectors are earning country’s

major portion of foreign exchange and creating huge job opportunities every year since 1980.

Keeping this prospect in mind, Turag Garments & Hosiery Mills Ltd. was established in 1998 in a

small scale. With the passage of time, it has been expanded in a large scale with good facilities of

Knitting, Dyeing- finishing and Sewing. Now, the floor area is 190,500 Sq. feet. Within next few

months it will reach 426,500 Sq. feet. Our factory is located at the outskirt of Dhaka city. The

location is South Panishail, Zirani Bazar, Kashimpur, Gazipur which is 37 kilometer apart from the

zero point of Dhaka and 26 km from the Zia International Airport.

The main instruments of our success are the team work, skilled personnel and professionalism. The

factory is designed to meet all compliances & human right requirements. From the very beginning it

has got a view to attend social commitments and make contribution to the economy. All expansion

and development works of factory are being done keeping this vision in mind.

For the safety and welfare to the workers, the factory is equipped and protected with enough fire

fighting equipments, fire alarm, drinking water facilities, workers’ canteen, sufficient number of

toilets and first aid facilities. Medical Centre and Day Care Centre are available in a suitable location

of the factory building for better treatment of the workers and their children.

The factory has been equipped with world famous brand new machinery like- Sclavos from Greece

for dyeing, Santex from Switzerland for finishing, Monforts from Germany for Stentering and EL

from Italy for Slitting.

Turag Garments is renowned for producing casual and sports wear with different patterns and sizes

of knit fabrics which are finished with different functions like Wicking, Moisture Management, Anti-

Bacterial, Earth & Soil release, Anti-Mosquito etc. It also works with special yarn like- Coolmax,

Polyester, Micro polyester, Modal, Bamboo Cotton, Polyamide Tactel, Suplex etc.

The factory has got the state-of-the-art laboratory equipments facilities. These are Datacolor650,

Spectrophotometer, USA. We are going to add Auto dispenser in our next expansion programme. All

equipments are ISO, AATCC, ASTM, M&S etc. certified.

We have a well equipped and self sufficient sample room with expertise and can make sample in a

day with available fabric and trims. Usually we are working on 60 days delivery with L/C at sight in

both FOB & C & F.
