Wuhan Eastlake Storage Technology Co., LTD., a leading data storage technology company in China, was established in 1999. Its investors and technology providers include Wuhan Huge Technology Co., High Performance Computing Laboratory of URI (University of Rhode Island, USA) and National Laboratory of Data Storage System of HUST (Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China).

The company is on the frontiers of data storage technology (Parallel mass storage system, Network attached storage, SAN, Storage intensive application, New interface and I/O channel). Furthermore, the storage system manufacturing, storage application software, storage solution and storage system integration are the main focus of the company.

Cooperating with the High Performance Computing Laboratory of URI, USA and the National Laboratory of Data Storage System of HUST, China, the company has established a Research and Development Center. The center has 2 post-doctors, 4 doctors and 20 masters, under the leadership of professor Qing Yang (University of Rhode Island, winner of many USA-NSF research awards) and professor Changsheng Xie (Director of National Laboratory of Data Storage System of HUST, China), the R&D team are developing new storage technology and products.

The company holds a license of USA patent (No.5, 754, 888), owns two Chinese patents, and has developed several products such as DCD Accelerating Card, NAS CD Server and RAID systems.
