Our alumina-zirconia abrasive is produced by smelting the mixture of alumina and zirconia. It has two types, AZ 40 (Zirconia 40%) and AZ 25 (Zirconia 25%). It has excellent performances such as High toughness, good durability and well heat resistant. It is widely used to make Heavy Duty Grinding Wheel for grinding the stainless steel slab and special steel slab during steel making.
Applications:
Bonded abrasives, coated abrasives, blasting.
Typical Chemical Analysis:
AZ 25: Al2O3 68-72%, ZrO2 24-30%, TiO2 < 1.0%, SiO2 < 0.5%, Fe2O3 < 0.5%;
AZ 40: Al2O3 55-57%, ZrO2 38-44%, TiO2 < 1.0%, SiO2 < 0.5%, Fe2O3 < 0.5%.
Other chemical content can be adjusted according to customer's demands.
