Carbon monofluoride, often referred to as carbon fluoride, polycarbon monofluoride, CFx or graphite fluoride is a structural, non-stoichiometric fluorocarbon of empirical formula (CFx)n where 0 to 1.25. It is solid, white/grey, innoxious and fire retardant. The average particle size is 20 microns.
Applications:
i) Best release agent for machine precision casting;
ii) Excellent lubricating material on the atmosphere of high-temperature, high-speed, high pressure, and corrosion;
iii) Conductive agent for lithium fluoride battery;
