2. In food processing, it is used as thickening agent, suspending agent, dispersing agent, binder, emulsifier, filmogen, water-retention agent, etc.
3. In daily-use chemical industry, it is used as additives in tooth paste, cosmetics, detergent, etc.
As gellant and water-retention agent for cement, gypsum, lime, it is a good admixture for powder building materials.
4. HEMC is widely used in water-based latex paint, construction and building materials, printing ink, oil drilling, for thickening and Water-retention. It also can improve construction speed, when it is used in Wet and dry mortar products
