Metal bond

doubleagle or Metal Bond is a 2 component epoxy adhesive. Component “A” is a slightly yellowish flowable paste. Component “B” is a flowable paste. The adhesive will start reacting after mixing by thickening and eventually will become a tough product with outstanding adhesive properties.

TYPICAL USE It is specifically formulated to bond: Rubber floor covering to smooth surfaces (Concrete, metal, cement screed). Tufted carpets backed with latex foam to smooth surfaces indoor or outdoors. Wood block flooring on damp surfaces. Rubber or synthetic sport flooring for indoor and outdoor applications over concrete.

Specific gravity (ASTM 1475): 1.70 Tensile (ASTM 2370): 2,400 psi/mil Elongation (ASTM 2370): 20% Shore Hardness (ASTM 2240): 80 Coverage: 160 – 240 sq.ft./2 US gallons or 2-3 sq.m/litre depending on the surface conditions and the trowel.

DRYING TIME Setting time: The setting time is strongly influenced by the temperature as indicated below: Temperature (℃) 30 25 20 15 10 5 Temperature (℉) 90 80 70 60 50 40 Hrs. Setting time 3.5 5.5 7.5 12 24 36 Tough dry: Very light traffic for 24-48 hours. Dry hard: Regular traffic 72-96 hours Full cure: 7-10 days.

PACKING AND STORAGE 52grams per blister card ( 1OZ x 2 tubes each set), 12 blister card per inner box, 12 inner boxes per outside carton.
