Description: The art displays the Jhijhiya dance, a folk dance of Maithili people. This dance is performed during the Dashain festival to remove evil eyes. The numbers of holes are made in the decorated mud pots and inside it an oil lamp Code placed which is carried on the head of the dancer (girls or women). Very few numbers of girls or women perform this dance as it is tough task.
