PH13-8Mo XM-13 S13800 is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel capable of high strength and hardness along with good levels of resistance to both general corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking. In addition, the alloy exhibits good ductility and toughness in large sections in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. Stainless steel PH13-8Mo has been used for valve parts, fittings, cold-headed and machined fasteners, shafts, landing gear parts, pins, lock washers, aircraft components, nuclear reactor components and petrochemical applications requiring resistance to stress-corrosion cracking.

As per the customer s request, PH13-8MO will be furnished in various heat treatments such as Condition A, Condition H950, H1000, H1025, H1050, H1100, H1150 and H1150M. The mechanical properties are altered by different age hardening treatments.
