Description of Phenolic Resin Product name: PHENOLIC RESIN CAS NO.:25085-50-1 Other name: PTBP-formaldehyde resins;p-tert-Butylphenol-formaldehyde resins; Properties: Pale yellow to amber transparent small bulk solids, soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, alkanes, halogenated hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, and tung oil. Slightly soluble in ethanol.

Usage of Phenolic Resin The resin is used as a thickener and a rubber vulcanizing agent, it has excellent initial tack and cohesive strength, has good heat resistance and an open period and storage stability.

The resin is mainly used neoprene adhesive industry, also used as a butyl rubber curing agent, and a fire retardant paint, anti-rust paint, ink, adhesive tape production. PU adhesive can be used for manufacturing.
