1. Introduction of T-602(HB) Polymetthacrylate
T-602(HB) is a new PMA -based lubricant Pour Point Depressant. It provides robust low- temperature flow solutions across various lubricants, particularly effective for solvent refining base oils or higher OCP viscosity modifiers content lubricants. Among all PPD’s on the market, it stands out for its low treat level and appreciable effects. Additionally, it enjoys good shear stability and imparts good low temperature fluidity to most base stocks. So far it has gained wide use in formulation of engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils and other industrial oils.
2. Typical Dosages in Finished Lubricants:
Depending on the degree of depression desired, the typical dosages would range as follows:
(1). Engine oils 0.1-0.5% (w/w)
(2). Gear Oils, hydraulic and industrial oils 0.2-1.5% (w/w)
