Biogas contains a lot of water when generated from the anaerobic fermentation tank. Due to the changes of temperature and pressure in the process of the pipeline transportation system, dew-point depression and the moisture separated out, this can make the two phases flow in the system, increase the resistance of the system, even can block the pipeline. The function of the steam separator is to remove the moisture by using cold separation, and to remove the hidden danger of the system.
The steam separator our company developed has high efficiency. On the basis of the cold separation, we developed unique packing system, disperse the gas-liquid two phase into many little bubbles, droplets or liquid film, increase the contact area of the gas-liquid two phases. It has more efficient removal of the free water in the biogas. Meanwhile, the packing system has good chemical stability, anticorrosion to gas or liquid, and has some function of fire resistance. Appropriate voidage, can decrease the resistance of gas. Good mechanical strength and other advantages. Moisture removal rate can reach to above 95%.
