The Independent Newspaper is a products of Mbok Investments Company Limited. We have had the pleasure in the past of informing you of our company’s activities in the communications sector and the launch in the near future of our bi-monthly to be called The Independent. The objective of our correspondence to your offices is to introduce ourselves to your organization and fulfill the legal requirement for registration and copyrighting of a new publication in Namibia.
Our company, Mbok Investments Company Limited (MINVESTCO Ltd) is duly registered with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in terms of the companies act of 1973 registration Number 2005/003, we are also registered with the Ministry of Finance in terms of income tax act and VAT act, and have submitted our registration with MISA relative to our future publication.
Mbok Investments Company Limited (MINVESTCO Ltd) will soon launch a product called The Independent an Afro-centric Media which will mainly report on business activities, business opportunities, financial markets analysis in Namibia, Africa and around the world and franchising opportunities, entrepreneurial innovations , investment and money matters. Our publication’s aim will be to focus on Africa, express African perspectives to inform, educate, advise, caution and expose any and all information relating to business, finance, business politics. The Independent aims to further facilitate networking amongst business people, facilitate meetings between financiers and those in need of finance, employers and those in need of employment, financial markets and investors as well as opening a forum for exchange of ideas, information and opinions.

• The Independent seeks to promote African perspectives in the business media by facilitating networking between various individuals and organizations. The Independent will promote the spirit of African hospitality, dignity and culture while being the best possible, most reputable and reliable Afro-centric business news gathering organization in Namibia initially, SADC and throughout Africa ultimately.

• Publish a bimonthly print paper providing business news and information
• Develop a portfolio of adding value services for our readers and advertisers including a double publications on the internet and on the print paper

• Increase penetration and sales revenue in existing markets by aggressively marketing our products and services.
