WATERPROOF AGENT FOR BUILDING FINISHING - RJ-WP03 (E)

DESCRIPTION

WP03(E) is a type of low molecular weight siloxane / silane emulsion. The siloxane and silane content contain excellent hydrophobic groups of methyl and octyl, as well as active groups of alkoxy, hydroxyl and epoxy which are easy condensed and hydrolysis. Thus when WP03(E) penetrate into pores of porous brick concrete,its active groups reacts with hydroxyl in substrate or self-condense to form a waterproof network structure called hydrophobic film, which prevents water form penetrating, but does not affect permeability to gases and water vapour.

WP03(E) has the following advantages,compared with WP01N:

A. Be neutral, but WP01N is strongly alkaline , PH ≧ 12, having strong irritation to skin.

B. can be used to much more types of building materials, no traces after dry.but because WP01N reacts with CO2 in the air,will form carbonate which is white powder, affecting the appearance of building materials.

C. contain much dimethyl siloxane, is better of water repellent effect than WP01N. Water absorption rate of building material after using. WP03(E) is lower 80% than no treatment on building materials.
