Tips for making high quality wood pellet mill

1.Changes raw materials pellet mill rate with variable frequency.

As we know, if raw materials are supplied into the pellet mill contrinuously, the pellet mill will be able to work fluently which avoid the machine stopping suddenly because of raw materials accumulation in the hopper, so adjustments on feed rate and maintianning a consistent feed rate can help to improve productivity.

2. Change raw material characteristic by steam

Raw materials hard like Oak,beech,rice husk which had lower binding power, which are not easy to press together; but steam could help to improve this.There is a pipe with steam on the modulator, and steam goes to the modulator to make the raw materials becoming soft. Steam could not only reduce the friction between roller and die,but also increase pellet yield capacity. Generally for wood pellet manufacturing steam is used.

3. Correctly adjusting gap between roller and die

The gap between roller and die is very important for pellets making. The roller and die are wearing parts,due to the abrasive nature and pressure of compression,the gap between roller and die adjustment can impact energy consumption and the quality of the pellets. Adjusing gap between the roller and die could prolonging life time of the roller and die.
