Merge databases
All the following procedures are performed from the Product Editor window.
Define New IM Component
Use this procedure to add a new component definition to the component da-tabase.
(For more detail refer to the Create a Component Definition topic in the New Component module.)
Procedure:

Components > Databases > Component > Add
The Select Component Type dialog box is displayed.

From the Component Types list box, select the component type (or category) to define.

Select OK. The New Component window is displayed.

Enter the Component ID and push [Tab] to move each subsequent data field. For details about component information, refer to the New Com-ponent module.

When all the component data has been entered, select Component.

Select Save. A message indicates that the component was successfully saved.
