A trunking gateway is an interface between VoIP and PSTN. It is a device whereby the VoIP line and PSTN line are connected so that an end user can use PSTN phones to make a call over VoIP.
RT-EIMS2002 E1/T1 digital trunking gateway realizes interconversion of IP packets and PCM through IP interface and T1/E1 interface. It is usually deployed on PSTN end office and enterprises.
RT-EIMS2002 E1/T1 digital trunking gateway uses professional plug-in design with flexible installation and change. To meet different users’ requirements, it can provide 1-8 E1, single business board supporting 4 E1 at most, single machine plugged in by 2 business boards, so single machine supporting 8 E1 at most. It could be realized by multiple machines cascaded when over 8 E1. Furthermore, it could be flexibly chosen to meet users’ specific requirements.
RT-EIMS2002 offers 5 modes in one single device, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 E1/T1 ports.
