The engine and alternator are coupled directly with each other and mounted on a base frame. Gen-set is designed for intermittent overload capacity of 10 % for one hour in any twelve hours of running at prime rating. Standby power ratings are applicable for supplying electric power in event of normal utility power failure. No overload capacity is available for the standby ratings.
